Nusa Dua. The 2017 Bali Arts Festival has partnered with media company Bali Go Live to conduct real time, digital streaming throughout the festival, which begins on Saturday (10/06) and runs until July 8.

"We are collaborating with Bali Go Live as part of our efforts to expand our digital marketing presence [...] They will help make the event go viral through live streaming on their website," Bali Tourism Agency head A.A. Yuniartha Putra said at the Nusa Dua Convention Center on Friday.

Bali Go Live director Paulus Herry Arianto said the streaming platform will present interesting and unique presentations throughout the festival that touch on local culture and cuisine, as well as traditional art pieces.

Paulus said the platform can help introduce Balinese youth to parts of their culture they may not yet have been exposed to.

"Bali Go Live is connected to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms. Our mission is to become a sort of digital encyclopedia for everything there is to know about Bali," Paulus said.

"We want to strengthen our island's standing as one of the most favored tourism destinations in the world."

The annual Bali Arts Festival will be held at the Denpasar Art Center, also known as Bali Cultural Park, in Denpasar, Bali, starting on June 10 with an opening performance at the Bajra Sandhi Renon Monument.
