First Media Eyes More Clients in Lippo Cikarang via 7th NeXt Gen Experience Tour

Cikarang. First Media, the first provider of integrated telecommunications and multimedia services in Indonesia, on Saturday (25/02) and Sunday hosts its 7th "NeXt Gen Experience" tour in Lippo Cikarang, an industrial township east of Jakarta, developed by its sister company.

The two-day tour, during which visitors can enjoy First Media's innovative services, is addressed especially to Lippo Cikarang's fast-growing population.

Lippo has developed more than 14,000 housing units and registers a population of about 47,000, of whom 17,137 are expatriates living in the township that hosts 920 light manufacturing companies.

Lilies Surjono, head of marketing communication at Link Net, a subsidiary of First Media, said that during the tour, the company showcases super fast internet (up to 1 gbps) from FastNet, 4k Ultra HD high definition television and First Media X, "TV Anywhere: Live Streaming and Catch-Up TV" mobile app service, and Smart Living, which makes use of high-speed internet to offer customers integrated home security services.

Participants in the event, including current customers, can save up to Rp 5 million ($370) and receive various bonuses, such as 10 cinema tickets to Cinemaxx theaters.

Several internet and technology providers have opened their booths during the tour. Bolt!, for example, offers a free nine-day unlimited service for selected package plans, or upon a prepaid data purchase of Rp 99,000.

NeXt Gen Experience also includes a singing competition, selfie photo contest in front of First Media's helicopter, free coffee and sweets.

The two-day event is expected to see around 80,000 guests.

Lippo Cikarang and the Jakarta Globe are both affiliated with the Lippo Group.
