Pertamina's New Diesel Fuel Dexlite to Be Available in April
Manado, North Sulawesi. State energy company Pertamina will launch a new unsubsidized diesel fuel dubbed Dexlite in April.
Ahmad Bambang, marketing and commercial director at Pertamina, said Dexlite has a low sulfur content, promising better performance for diesel cars than the current subsidized diesel fuel sold at gas stations around the country.
"We expect Dexlite will be available by April," Bambang said.
At Rp 7,000 (53 cents) per liter, Dexlite will be cheaper than Pertamina's current diesel fuel, called Dex.
Bambang assured the public Pertamina would keep selling subsidized Dex, which is widely used by buses around the country.
