Jakarta. PP Properti, a subsidiary of state-controlled property developer PP, has established a joint venture with Aryan Indonesia to develop Kidzania, an indoor children's recreation center at Lagoon Avenue Sungkono, a lifestyle mall in Surabaya, East Java.
Indaryanto, director and corporate secretary at PP Properti, said the signing for the venture took place on Wednesday (01/03).
"PP Properti will hold a 49 percent share in the venture," he said.
The venture received Rp 92 billion ($6.9 million) in paid-up capital.
Kidzania is a franchise from Mexico that offers edutainment facilities in the form of a miniature city. It is targeted at children between the ages of 2 and 16 years.
