Construction work on the Lippo Group's flagship property development Meikarta in Cikarang, West Java, resumed after last month's two-week-long Idul Fitri holiday. The megaproject is currently progressing at full speed and looks set to meet its December deadline.

The project involves the simultaneous construction of 92 apartment towers, with 18 expected to be completed between the end of this year and February next year.

The Indonesian conglomerate envisages Meikarta as a new urban center in the Jakarta-Bandung economic corridor, projected to provide employment opportunities, homes and world-class amenities for 15 million people over the next 20 years.
