Semanggi Interchange now casts rainbow lights on anyone who passes Jakarta's Jalan Gatot Subroto.

The interchange was constructed by former President Sukarno in 1961, but has been fully complete only since April. The works, initiated by the Jakarta administration under Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama and Djarot Saiful Hidayat, took 16 months, two months less than targeted.

The Rp 345 billion ($26 million) project is the longest elevated roundabout in Indonesia.
