Jakarta. Indonesian modest wear e-commerce Hijup.com is set to promote works by Indonesian designers at the upcoming London Fashion Week, British Council announced in Jakarta on Friday.

Dian Pelangi, Restu Anggraini, Jenahara and Zaskia Sungkar will present the "Modest Cosmopolists" collection at the International Fashion Showcase, a key program of the London Fashion Week. The collection emphasizes the cultural root of human beings, which balances simplicity and avant garde style.

Vivi Zubedi will attend as tenant representative from the e-commerce platform.

Hijup.com chief executive Diajeng Lestari said she has met UK Prime Minister David Cameron and promote modest wear during his visit to Indonesia.

"By participating in London Fashion Week, we would like to showcase beauty, creativity and peace as Islamic values," she said, as quoted by state news agency Antara.

The online store will be publishing the journey to London in a series of videos on their official YouTube page. Here is a teaser video:

Dian was the solo participant at the International Fashion Showcase last year. Former participants include Toton and Jeffry Tan.
