Police to Submit Ahok's Blasphemy Case Dossier to Prosecutors on Friday
Jakarta. A blasphemy case, in which Jakarta governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama is the suspect, will soon be taken to court, the police announced on Thursday (24/11).
Investigators from the police's special crimes unit are currently preparing the case files.
"We were told that tomorrow the investigators will submit the files to the prosecutors," National Police information unit head Chief Comr. Martinus Sitompul said in Jakarta.
Police spokesman Gen. Insp. Boy Rafli Amar said the case dossier is now 90 percent complete.
"It will be finished by tomorrow and we'll send it right away to the prosecutors," Boy said.
