KPK Welcomes New Spokesman Febri Diansyah
Jakarta. The national antigraft agency has sworn in an anti-corruption activist Febri Diansyah as new spokesman on Tuesday (06/12) in Jakarta.
Febri will fill the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) post which has been vacant for two years after Johan Budi became presidential spokesman in 2014.
Febri, a graduate from Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, was previously known as a researcher for corruption watchdog Indonesia Corruption Watch focusing on law enforcement and court monitoring.
He joined the antigraft agency in 2013 as a staff member of the gratification directorate.
KPK chairman Agus Rahardjo also swore in Wawan Wardiana as the director of research and development and Dian Novianti as the human resources bureau head.
“I hope these appointments will improve KPK's performance," Agus said during the inauguration.
