'Wonderful Indonesia' Graces Times Square Billboards
Jakarta. To promote former United States President Barack Obama's visit to Indonesia this week, the Ministry of Tourism has installed another billboard advertisement as part of the Wonderful Indonesia marketing campaign in Times Square, New York City.
A similar marketing strategy was employed in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region during Saudi's King Salman's visit to the Southeast Asian country earlier this year.
Nearly 39 million people visit Times Square every year.
The area, a shopping and business center, is a popular attraction in New York, not only for overseas tourists but also for native New Yorkers.
