Jakarta. Indonesia's 4G network pioneer Bolt! has launched its first postpaid unlimited package for smartphones, a statement released on Tuesday (18/03) said.
Priced at Rp 99,000 ($7.4) per month, the product is aimed to answer the high demand for fast mobile internet.
The company referred to the latest survey titled "Penetrasi dan Perilaku Pengguna Internet di Indonesia Tahun 2016" ("Internet Penetration and Consumer Behavior in Indonesia in 2016") by the Indonesian Internet Providers Association (APJII), which said that the number of people accessing the internet from smartphones reached 63.1 million, or 47.6 percent of the total users.
"Our unlimited postpaid package for smartphones is designed for mobile users who want fast, stable and affordable internet access without quota restrictions," Bolt! head of product Angkasa Perdana Putra said.
Customers interested in the package will have to sign up for a minimum of 12-month subscription. For their convenience, Bolt! allows payment with cash, credit and debit cards.
Bolt! and the Jakarta Globe are both affiliated with the Lippo Group.
