Coffee Shop Maxx Corner Launches Its First Outlet
Jakarta. Maxx Corner, a Lippo-backed cafe chain, launched its first outlet at the Plaza Semanggi shopping mall in Jakarta on Wednesday (16/08).
Themed "Coffee Your Way," the outlet offers is a one-stop great coffee experience in a cozy space.
"Customers return to coffee shops that serve authentic coffee, have good baristas and, of course, appropriate prices. Maxx Corner combines these so our customers can express 'Coffee Your Way' with their own style," Maxx Corner chief commercial officer Vico Lamar said in a statement on Friday.
The coffee beans used by Maxx Corner come from Indonesian plantations and include Arabica Java Ijen, Sumatra Mandheling and Bali Kintamani.
The new coffee shop offers traditional snacks such as lupis (sweet glutinous rice cake), singkong goreng (fried cassava), lapis sagu pandan (steamed rice cake flavored with pandan) and risol rogut (rolled appetizers with ragout filling).
Those who cannot drink coffee can enjoy a variety of non-caffeine drinks, including lychee tea, milk tea and chocolate.
All products are affordably priced at Rp 10,000 (75 US cents) to Rp 35,000.
The Jakarta Globe and Maxx Corner are both affiliated with Lippo Group.
