Jakarta. Graha Teknologi Nusantara, or GTN, a data center subsidiary of technology company Multipolar Technology, has recently obtained two certificates of the International Organization for Standardization, the company said in a statement on Thursday (15/06).
The British Standards Institution (BSI), which issues ISO certificates, has awarded GTN with ISO 9001: 2015 for quality management system and ISO 27001: 2013 for information security management system in late May, after six months of auditing.
"The data center business is run based on trust, so we take international standards very seriously. We try to maintain operational excellence by referring to the highest standards of service, security and confidentiality of customer data," GTN chief operating officer Miko Yanuar said.
"Carrying out services according to globally recognized standards will minimize operational risk, reduce production costs, ensure data security, and thus boost the company's reputation."
GTN director Kazuomi Izumi added that having earned the certificates, GTN is now on the same level as other internationally recognized data centers.
Last year, the company received ANSI/TIA-942: 2014 from Singaporean data center consultancy company Enterprise Products Integration.
Currently GTN is in the process of getting the Payment Card Industry Security Standard (PCI DSS), a benchmark in information security for companies dealing with cardholder information.
