GTN Data Center Receives PCI DSS 3.2 Certificate
Jakarta. Graha Teknologi Nusantara, or GTN, a data center subsidiary of listed technology company Multipolar Technology, has received the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard certificate, or PCI DSS, 3.2, it said in a statement on Thursday (13/10).
PCI DSS is a global benchmark in information security for companies dealing with cardholder information such as credit card transactions, debit cards, ATM cards and e-money. A company is listed as a PCI compliant if it stores, processes and transmits card information in accordance with the PCI DSS standards.
"The obtaining of the PCI DSS certification demonstrates that the quality of the GTN Data Center security system is ready to serve the fintech sector … In order to maintain the quality, we will continue to improve the safety processes through updating and monitoring data transaction security on a yearly basis," GTN chief operating officer Miko Yanuar said.
"In this digital era, transactions with credit cards, debit cards or e-money are increasing and the risks endangering the transactions are also greater. Thus, the management must be handled professionally," he added.
In May, the company was awarded ISO 9001: 2015 for quality management system and ISO 27001: 2013 for information security management system by the British Standards Institutions.
Last year, the company also received ANSI/TIA-942: 2014 from Singaporean data center consultancy company Enterprise Products Integration.
