Nobu Bank Wins 'Best Service Title' at Indonesia Best Banking Brand Award 2016

Jakarta. Nobu Bank was named the "Best Service Title" at the annual Indonesia Best Banking Brand Award 2016 in Jakarta on Friday (16/12).

Nobu Bank won for the category of national public and private banks with licenses to operate as foreign-exchange banks. The "Best Service Title" award also went to Bank Central Asia, Bank CIMB Niaga and Bank UOB Indonesia.

The award was organized by Warta Ekonomi magazine to recognize achievements in banking services. Warta Ekonomi did comprehensive desk research involving 1,800 respondents in five big cities across Indonesia. The judging criteria included the banks' history, operations, digital technology, reputation of products and services, and strategies to uphold the reputation from 2015 to 2016.

Nobu Bank president director Suhaimin Johan said the award reflected public's acceptance of the bank's image and services and marked a moment to always provide the best for its customers.

One of the measures taken by the bank is by adding and developing e-services in the bid to become a reliable "financial supermarket banking," according to Nobu Bank director Migi Trisnadi.

He said the bank is committed to continue upgrading the comprehensive e-channel, which currently features a wide range of services, such as retail internet banking, corporate internet banking, mobile banking and e-money.
