Lippo Cikarang Offers Free Medical Checkups in Jayamukti
Jakarta. Around 500 residents of Jayamukti village in Central Cikarang, Cikarang, West Java, attended a free medical checkup organized by Lippo Cikarang and Siloam Hospitals on Monday (09/07).
"We wanted to show our commitment to the community through our CSR programs focused on health, education and the environment," Simon Subiyanto, president director of Lippo Cikarang, said in a statement on Monday.
The free medical checkup program is organized annually.
"We're very thankful for Lippo Cikarang's continuous contributions for the Cikarang community," said Endin Samsuddin, Central Cikarang subdistrict head.
The free medical checkups were carried out from 08.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., and included dental and blood sugar level checkups for patients over 40 years old.
Astu Juni of Siloam Hospitals praised the program, saying it is a manifestation of Siloam Group's vision of providing health care to all.
This year Lippo Cikarang has organized a few CSR programs focused on the environment, such as the "Fun Bike" event in May, planting trees in March and distributing food packages in February.
