Telkom and Indonesian National Army Conducted Social Services at Haruku Island
PT. Telkom Indonesia (Telkom) along with the Indonesian National Army (TNI) is conducting a community social services at Haruku Island, Maluku. Thursday (1/9). With the purpose of blending with the society, the social services are also part of part of the cooperation program that has been well established between Telkom and with TNI Air Force.
The Social Services activities initiated by Telkom and TNI has supported the society of Haruku Island, which also conducted a series of activities adapted to the conditions and needs of the community. Among of the activities that have been started on August 31, 2016 among others are through the form of assistance in Education Facility.
According to Telkom's Director of Consumer Dian Rachmawan, Telkom has a very strong commitment to community development. "Telkom has a variety of programs and activities that focus on community development, among others through partnerships and community development programs which have been implemented to remote archipelago islands even up to the forefront," said Dian.
Dian also added that in addition to established a strong bond with the community, especially the leading edge of the island, the social services activities have also been carried out on an ongoing basis with the hope that the public can benefit from the presence of Telkom in their respective areas. Telkom expects that the social service in the future will involve various parties that will raise the public awareness of the existence of Telkom to safeguard assets, such as the existence of a telephone pole that Telkom will be able to serve customers with guaranteed quality.
