Telkom Support Fast Internet Infrastructure in Kota Serang Through Digital Parks

PT. Telkom Indonesia (Telkom) supports easy Internet access for people in Serang by inaugurating Digital Park along with Serang city government. It was conducted by the Director of Consumer Telkom Dian Serang Mayor Rachmawan and Tb. Haerul Jaman, Friday (17/3).

The Digital Park is located in the Town Square, Serang. This is the first Digital Park in Serang city which is a collaboration between the City of Serang with Telkom. Its presence is intended for citizens, especially the younger generation who want to enjoy an affordable and fast internet access of up to 100Mbps.

Director of Consumer Service Telkom Dian Rachmawan expressed her happiness that can bring Digital Parks for the city of Serang.

"We are very pleased with the opening of the Digital Park. The location is a gathering place for young people who are to be facilitated so that the creative energy of young people can be channeled positively," said Dian.

Dian hopes that this digital park will facilitate the public to get information on the Internet. The existence of digital park is one form of supporting the Serang city government to expand the Internet network that can be enjoyed by the community.

While mayor of Serang Tb. Haerul Jaman said that with the digital park, residents can enjoy the beauty of the garden, family recreation while surfing the internet at high speed. "The presence of Digital Parks is a proof that the city of Serang is responsive to advances in information technology," said Tb Haerul Jaman.

Related to the penetration of Triple Play services IndiHome, Dian said, the market potential of broadband in Serang city is quite high since it is supported by the product of IndiHome and the residents of Serang also open to information and innovation.

Earlier, in February, Telkom announced that it has set up a 7428 WiFi point Corner (Wico) across the country to support the national digital economy. Through Corner, a community can enjoy the convenience of accessing internet services with speeds up to 100 Mbps.
