PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) and PT Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) conducted a soft launch of Integrated Captial Markets Network (JPTM) in conjunction with the opening of the Stock Exchange trading in March, which was attended by the Deputy Executive Vice President of enterprise service division Telkom, Suhartono as well as representatives from the Information Technology (IT) across the Exchange Member in BEI Auditorium, Jakarta (2/3).
Suhartono stated that this activity represented Telkom's commitment in supporting the competitiveness of the industry, particularly in the financial sector. "Telkom is ready to support the capital market by providing reliable data transmission connection so that BEI can be further developed in the future," said Suhartono.
The Integrated Captial Markets Network is a Private Network Solutions Community that is employed to connect the Self Regulatory Organization (SRO) by its users. SRO consists of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), Indonesian Clearing and Guarantee Corporation (KPEI) and PT Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI). Meanwhile, the users The Integrated Captial Markets Network include exchange members (AB), Bank Custodian Participant (Commercial Bank), the FSA and the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management are located in the Greater Jakarta area.
The scope of the solution provided by Telkom includes a dedicated network with a backbone network infrastructure, supported by two physical clouds as well as dual access to end-to-end fiber optic, covering all areas of Jakarta and several places that were determined by SROs related to the interests of the Capital Market and Financial Services.
The telecommunications infrastructure is also equipped with preventive maintenance for the SROs and performance reporting on a periodic basis. The advantages provided by Telkom network, these include the High Availability, High Security and High Service Level Guarantee that promises Low Latency. In addition, Telkom also supplies internet access for BEI representative offices that spread throughout Indonesia, and SMS notifications in KSEI stock transaction and to members of the exchange.
Telkom hoped that the support of infrastructure through Integrated Captial Markets Network solution will be able to assist in the integration of various financial activities in the capital market so as to strengthen the confidence of the BEI exchange members who in turn can increase the excitement of the Indonesian economy.
