International business consultant Frost & Sullivan awarded PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) as "Indonesia Telecom Service Provider of the Year" and "2017 Indonesia Fixed Broadband Service Provider of the Year". Telkom's Consumer Service Director Mas'ud Khamid received the award at "Frost & Sullivan Indonesia Excellence Award 2017" which was held in Jakarta on Tuesday (28/11).
Three of Telkom's subsidiaries also received similar awards. PT Telkomsel (Telkomsel) won two awards, namely "Indonesia Digital Services Provider" and "Indonesia m-money Service Provider of the Year" for TCASH services. In addition, PT Sigma Cipta Caraka (Telkomsigma) won "Indonesia Managed Service Provider of The Year", while PT Infomedia Nusantara (Infomedia) was awarded "Indonesia Outsourcing Contact Service Provider of The Year."
Mas'ud Khamid expressed its gratefulness to Frost & Sullivan who again conferred the award. "This award is a proud achievement since it reflects the positive response of customers and society to the service innovations created by TelkomGroup continuously, especially in building digital lifestyle in Indonesia. This achievement is also a form of stakeholders' trust towards TelkomGroup ", said Mas'ud Khamid. This award achievement also shows the consistency of TelkomGroup in maintaining good business performance from year to year.
Frost & Sullivan awarded TelkomGroup due to its superior leadership, technological innovation, excellent customer service, and strategic product development that excels in its respective industries. This red plate digital telecommunication company is also considered capable of exceeding the limit as a company with satisfactory performance but also shows its contribution in the development of the Indonesian economy.

The 2017 Indonesia Fixed Broadband Service Provider of the Year was awarded after Telkom successfully demonstrated its superiority as the best fixed broadband service provider. In the third quarter of 2017, Telkom's Fixed Broadband service achieved significant growth by registering 4.75 million subscribers. The amount includes 2.34 million IndiHome customers with ARPU IndiHome recorded at Rp 308 thousand. Until the end of September 2017, IndiHome customers increased 53.6% from the same period in the previous year which was 1.52 million subscribers.
Telkom's net profit rose by 21.7% to 17.92 trillion. The increase in net profit was driven by revenue that rose 12.5 percent to Rp 97 trillion. Most of the growth came from Data, Internet & IT Service segment which grew by 30.5%. Data Segment, Internet & IT Service became the main contributor to performance growth by contributing 43.8% of total revenues.
In addition, the achievement as Indonesia Digital Service Provider of The Year earned by Telkomsel is one manifestation of commitment to provide the best digital services to create Great Customer Experience. Until the third quarter of 2017, Digital Services Telkomsel's revenue recorded a rapid growth of 30.7% to Rp 2.74 trillion. Key products & services in this segment include Digital Lifestyle (VAS, Video, Games & Market Place, Music), Digital Banking & Advertising, Enterprise Digital Services (T-Drive, T-Bike, etc.), and Mobile Financial Services with TCASH products and T-Wallet.
Meanwhile, the award of Indonesia Telkomsel's m-money Service Provider of the Year is an appreciation of Telkomsel's TCASH service, which is TelkomGroup's innovation in financial technology to support the development of Less-cash Society in Indonesia. As an electronic money service, TCASH can be used by all Telkomsel subscribers, either postpaid or prepaid.
