PP Properti Plans Rp 1.2t Apartment Complex in Depok, Aimed at College Students

Jakarta. PP Properti, the property developer unit of state-controlled construction firm PP, will soon launch a Rp 1.2 trillion ($91 million) apartment complex in Depok, West Java, aimed at the large number of college students in the area, a company official said on Tuesday (09/08).

The two-tower property development that will be known as Evencio Margonda, will be built on 0.5 hectares. It will consist of 700 apartments.

PP Properti director Taufik Hidayat said the apartment block is aimed at students from universities in Depok – on the outskirts of Jakarta – and surrounding areas.

Campuses in the area include the University of Indonesia, Gunadharma University, Pancasila University, Institute of Social Sciences Political Science (IISIP) and the International Islamic University, which will soon be developed.
