Kuala Lumpur. Malaysian palm oil prices are expected to average 2,600 to 2,700 ringgit per tonne in 2018, while production is expected to be higher than 2017, the country's plantations minister said on Tuesday (14/11).

Malaysia's 2017 palm production is estimated at 19.5 million tonnes, Mah Siew Keong, minister of plantation industries and commodities, told reporters.

"For (2018) production, it will be more than last year," he said.
