Bekasi. Unhappy Persib Bandung supporters invaded the pitch during their team's match against Bhayangkara on Sunday (04/06) at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium in Bekasi, West Java, just after Persib conceded a second goal on the 81st minute.

The supporters said afterward they were taking out their frustration with Persib coach Djadjang Nurdjaman and the team's poor form in Liga 1.

Bhayangkara — a team affiliated officially sponsored by the Indonesian police — were much superior throughout the match and won easily 2-0.

Persib were also beaten by Bali United 1-0 last Wednesday. The "Bandung Tigers" currently languished at 11th place on the Liga 1 table with 13 points after three wins, four draws and two loses.

In Sunday's game, Bhayangkara scored its first goal after 27 minutes through Paulo Sergio who connected with a pass from Thiago Furtuoso. In the 81st minute, striker Ilham Udin Armaiyn doubled the lead with a clinical finish to a long pass from Jajang Mulyana.

The match was stopped for eight minutes after Ilham's goal before the referee eventually blew the final whistle.

"I'm ready if Persib want to evaluate my performance," Djadjang said after the game.

The 52-year-old coach, who won the Indonesian league with Persib as a player in 1986 and 1990, suspected some Persib supporters — the Bobotoh — have always had it against him since day one.

"Some Bobotohs have been disloyal. Traditionally, they stick with us whatever the results," he said.

Djadjang said the pitch invasion involved only a small group of Persib Bandung fans.
