Jakarta. Taiwanese-based electronic manufacturer Asus introduced ZenFone Live smartphones, which supports enhancements for both video and audio for live streaming and selfie videos in real time, the company said at Crematology coffee roasters in South Jakarta on Wednesday (26/07).

Designed for millenials, the Asus ZenFone Live features focus heavily on live video. It includes a camera, enhanced microphone performance and a beautification feature.

"Asus ZenFone Live is the first smartphone, which has great features for live streaming. It also equipped with an interesting beautification feature so users don't have to worry about their appearance before they go on live," Asus Indonesia head of public relation and e-marketing, Muhammad Firman said.

The beautification mode in the default camera app lets you add makeup, soften skin, brighten skin and enhance eyes.

ZenFone Live sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie camera with an 82-degree wide angle assisted by LED. Both cameras are equipped with beautification modes for good quality results, which work well in both daylight and night.

Asus ZenFone Live is also equipped with stereo recording and speech clarity for the users to enhance live streaming quality. The dual microphone and the 5-magnet speakers add softness and clarity to the voice, making it a perfect smartphone for live streaming.

Designed for young and active users, the phone is very light and easy to carry. At just 120 grams, the smartphone has a 5-inch HD screen with a 1280 x 720 resolution, which is good enough to keep things crisp and clear.

"Before we launched ZenFone Live, we knew that live streaming would become popular. That's the reason why we come up with the product," Firman added.

Asus ZenFone Live smartphones are available in navy black, shimmer gold and rose gold.
