Soekarno-Hatta Airport Hosts Live Music to Entertain Guests During Holiday Season
Jakarta. To celebrate Christmas and New Year festivities, the management at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta has prepared live music on Dec. 25-31 at all three airport terminals and the newly-opened sky train.
Indah Suryandari, human capital and finance executive manager at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, said that the live music was part of a customer happiness program currently run by Angkasa Pura II, the state-owned airport operator.
"The Customer Happiness program simply aims to share happy experiences with visitors at the airport," Indah said on Wednesday (27/12)
The live music exhibitions will feature local musicians who will perform songs from a variety of genres, starting from the Top 40 charts, oldies, classic rock and keroncong.
Visitors will be able to request songs and sing along during the performances.
"We would like to foster a meaningful relationship between visitors and airport management," Indah added.
The airport hopes that passengers who do not have the chance to celebrate Christmas at home with their families because of work or other reasons can still enjoy a Christmas and New Year atmosphere at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
