Suparniyati Wins Second Gold for Indonesia at 2018 Asian Para Games
Jakarta. Indonesian athlete Suparniyati secured the country's second 2018 Asian Para Games gold medal on Monday (08/10) with a winning performance in the women's F20 class shot-put competition.
The 25-year-old finished in first place with a throw of 10.75 meters, followed by Nakada Hiromi of Japan, with 10.51 meters.
Another Indonesian athlete, Tiwa, won bronze with 6.44 meters.
Devy Anrimusthi, Hary Susanto, Hafizh Briliansyah and Fredy Setiawan won Indonesia's first gold medal at this year's international multisport event by defeating Malaysia 2-1 in the badminton men's team standing competition on Sunday.
Indonesia has set a target of winning 18 gold medals at the 2018 Asian Para Games.
