Jakarta. The Indonesian Automotive Industry Association, or Gaikindo, will be hosting an international commercial vehicle expo at the Jakarta Convention Center on March 1-4.
"Indonesia has a great market potential for commercial vehicles used in logistics, distribution and trade," Gaikindo chairman Yohannes Nangoi said in a statement on Tuesday (16/01).
According to Gaikindo data, Indonesia's industrial and infrastructure growth creates a demand for commercial vehicles, especially heavy duty trucks.
Well-known car brands will be present at the the Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo — Daihatsu, DFSK, Hino, Isuzu, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Fuso, Mitsubishi Motors, Suzuki, UD Truck, United Tractors and Volvo, to name a few.
"The 2018 Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo will present a great opportunity for commercial vehicle trademark holding agents to showcase their newest products," Gaikindo deputy chairman Rizwan Alamsjah said.
The expo will be targeting a business-to-business audience. Pre-registration for buyers is open on Gaikindo's website until Feb. 26.
