10 Companies Win 2024 Sharia Economy Awards

Jakarta. Ten companies recently won big at the 2024 Sharia Economy Awards hosted by B-Universe Media Holdings’s Investor Daily and Infovesta.
The awards ceremony sought to improve the performance of financial firms and the sharia economy in Indonesia. According to B-Universe’s chief executive officer Rio Abdurrachamn, the sharia market accounts for 44 percent of the total assets of the country’s commercial banks.
“The sharia economy can become a key pillar to Indonesia’s economy. That is why we are hosting this event because we wish to encourage the sharia financial industry to grow,” Rio said in his opening remarks.
B-Universe’s executive chairman Enggartiasto Lukita also congratulated the winners.
“The judging process was an objective one, and we ended up with a number of financial firms that deserve praise. Once again, congratulations to the winners,” Enggartiasto said.
