BMW Indonesia, Astra Launch New Showroom in Pluit, North Jakarta
Jakarta. BMW Group Indonesia — the local arm of German automaker Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW) Group — and car distribution conglomerate Astra International opened a new showroom in Pluit, North Jakarta, on Tuesday (01/10).
Under the management of Astra International, BMW's official dealer, the five-storied showroom offers 3S — sales, services, spare parts. Facilities available at the showroom include service work bays, car lifts, a brake tester and 3D wheel alignment.
BMW Group Indonesia invested nearly Rp 90 billion ($6.8 million) in the new showroom and is optimistic it will boost sales and increase customer satisfaction.
"We'll introduce our latest BMW lineup later this year, opening this new showroom is the perfect start to 2017," BMW Group Indonesia President Director Karen Lim said in an official statement.
Several promo offers are available for car buyers from BMW Pluit throughout January.
"You can buy a BMW with a first installment as low as Rp 25 million this month. BMW users who use our after sales services for the first time here will also get a free car polish," Astra International-BMW Sales Operation Chief Executive Fredy Handjaja said.
Guests who attended the opening ceremony of BMW Pluit also had the opportunity to marvel at the award-winning all-new BMW 7-series sedans.
"The all-new BMW 7 Series features all the authentic BMW characters, including harmonious proportions and many outstanding features. BMW Pluit will bring you the best of BMW luxury sedans," Fredy said.
Astra International-BMW Sales Operation currently operates 8 showrooms in 5 cities across Indonesia: Jakarta, Semarang (Central Java), Surabaya (East Java), Makassar (South Sulawesi) and Denpasar (Bali).
