Digital Payment OVO Join Hands With US-based Tech Firms to Accelerate Big Data Analytics

Jakarta. OVO, a digital payment service, announced on Tuesday (24/10) that it has teamed up with Kinetica, a US-based provider of graphics processing unit (GPU) database, and NVIDIA, a tech firm that focuses on big data, to capture real-time analytics of consumers' shopping trends and their digital lifestyles.
OVO, part of the Lippo Digital Group, is a platform that integrates mobile payments, loyalty points and priority deals. OVO is expected to be the main platform for the group that integrates customer profiles and offers exclusive deals based on customer behavior and interest.

Lippo Digital Group's big data and analytics technology in investments aims to consolidate all customer data generated from Lippo's subsidiaries into one centralized analytics platform. That data will be analyzed to produce a complete view of customers' profile and experience.
Equipped with big data and an Artificial Intelligence (AI) application programming interface from Kinetica and NVIDIA, all of Lippo Group's touch point channels will be able to search through various dimensions of customer data, including demographics, cross-channel shopping behavior and interactions across online stores and platforms.
The system can identify correlations between customer information, transactions and locations using geospatial analytics to provide insights to Lippo Group business units that can be used to understand business performance and outperform competitors.

Lippo will soon begin big data monetization to deliver smart interactive digital channels. The new channel will provide unique shopping experiences for customers and help advertisers reach their target market.
