APRIL 08, 2016

Jakarta. A year after its global introduction, the Scrambler Ducati series has finally arrived in Indonesia, as it was presented during the Indonesian International Motor Show 2016, launching the Scrambler Sixty2 and Scrambler 800 on Thursday (07/04).

Some Indonesian motorcycle enthusiasts had prebooked the motorbikes even before the global launch last year.

“Scrambler Ducati is a sub-brand of Ducati and has a modern-contemporary design, with the best performance, technology, design and quality Ducati has to offer. The Scrambler Ducati concept embodies freedom of expression, fun and positive spirit,” said Dhani Yahya, Ducati Indonesia managing director.

The Scrambler Sixty2 aims to be an icon for the younger generation of bike aficionados.

The 400cc Scrambler Sixty2 series is available in Tangerine Orange, Ocean Grey and Deep Black, and costs Rp 219 million ($16,675).

The 800cc Scrambler 800 series is available from Rp 299 million.

Ducati Indonesia’s yellow container booth at the Indonesia International Motor Show 2016 was decorated to match the Scrambler Ducati variations.

The IIMS is being held at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, until April 17.
