Harley Davidson Back in Business in Indonesia After Appointing Nusantara Moto as New Authorized Dealer

Jakarta. Harley-Davidson, a manufacturer and distributor of classic luxurious motorcycles, is back in business in Indonesia after appointing a new authorized dealer, Nusantara Moto International.

The top brand discontinued cooperation with Mabua Motor Indonesia last year.

From October, Nusantara has operated Nusantara Harley Davidson in Radio Dalam, South Jakarta, which carries the luxury motorcycles as well as offering service and spare parts for the classic heavy weight motorcycle. The outlet also carries merchandise and accessories.

“Harley-Davidson is back in business in Indonesia after 10-month,” Harley-Davidson managing director of Asia emerging markets Peter Mackenzie said in Jakarta on Thursday (08/12).

The Nusantara Harley-Davidson outlet is built on 256 square meters and is ready to offer Harley’s popular models including the H-D Street 500 cc, H-D Softail Slim S 1800 cc and H-D Sportster 48 (Fourty-Eight) 1200 cc.

The dealer offers two maintenance workshops.

On Thursday, Harley also announced it will bring its a new model next year to Indonesia, the Harley-Davidson Softail Slim S MY17 1,800 cc.
