IDX Considers Lippo Cikarang Responsive in Legal Case Disclosure

Jakarta. The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has deemed that publicly-listed company Lippo Cikarang, has been responsive and cooperative in its disclosure of the legal case regarding the Meikarta project.
Kristian S. Manullang, Director of Surveillance and Compliance at the IDX said that he has actively requested information from Lippo Cikarang by way of a letter of request for explanation on Monday (15/10), and has invited the company to a hearing that was planned for Thursday, at 2.00 p.m.
However, Lippo Cikarang has not been able to respond to the invitation, as it is still conducting an internal investigation to discern the facts of the incident. “Nonetheless, given the disclosure of information requested from IDX and fulfilled by the company, we view that the information provided to us is adequate,” Kristian said in an official release on Thursday (18/10).
Moreover, he says that Lippo Cikarang has been adequately responsive and has provided a press release that was publicized on the IDX website on Tuesday (16/10).
Meanwhile, the IDX has assured that their side will continue to monitor developments pertaining to the Meikarta case. “The IDX requests that the company continue to disclose relevant information in accordance to capital market regulations,” said Kristian.
