Increasing SOE Synergy, Telkom Supports the Development of PTPN Information Technology System

Jakarta, February 24, 2016 - As a form of synergy between State Owned Enterprises (SOE), PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk (Telkom) provided information communication & technology (ICT) support to PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (PTPN Holding).
The support was cemented in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Synergy of Corporate Resource Utilisation by Telkom's Director of Enterprise & Business Service Muhammad Awaluddin and Director of PTPN III Bagas Angkasa in Jakarta, Tuesday (23/2/16). The scope of the MoU includes synergy to utilise corporate resources, namely planning, utilisation and development of Information Technology (IT), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), E-Commerce, E-Procurement and utilisation of other products and services to support business activities that can create added value and sustain operations and business operations effectively and efficiently. On this occasion, Awaluddin expressed appreciation and gratitude for the trust that PTPN III has on Telkom Group's services and reaffirmed Telkom's commitment to support the government in building the industry and economy in Indonesia through SOE Synergy.
"The spirit of synergy between Telkom Group and PTPN is expected to make both PTPN and Telkom Group to become Bigger (Sales & Market Size), Broader (Business Scope) and Better (Service Quality)," said Awaluddin.
As the state telecommunications provider in Indonesia, Telkom Group believes that by developing this information technology services, it will support PTPN's vision to become a world class agribusiness company with excellent performance, which can implement the best business governance.
Bagas Angkasa welcomed the synergy of Telkom and PTPN III and said that he hoped that by having ERP, PTPN III can develop and improve its operational and financial performance and implement it throughout Indonesia.
Also present at the event were the Director of Corporate Secretary of PTPN III Rafjon Yahya, Finance Director of PTPN III Erwan Pelawi, EGM Enterprise Service Division Siti Choiriana Telkom, and Telkom MAS GM Dwi Sulistiani.
