Indomie’s Parent Companies Announce Rp 4.67 Trillion Dividend Payout Following Profit Surge

Jakarta. Salim Group's flagship companies, Indofood Sukses Makmur (INDF) and ICBP Sukses Makmur (ICBP), have announced a combined cash dividend distribution totaling Rp 4.67 trillion ($285.62 million) for the fiscal year 2023. This represents an 18.23 percent increase from the previous year's total of Rp 3.95 trillion.
Shareholders of the instant noodle producer Indomie have approved a final cash dividend of Rp 200 per share, amounting to Rp 2.33 trillion. Indofood Sukses Makmur, as the controlling shareholder of ICBP, will receive a dividend of Rp 1.87 trillion.
"The remaining dividend of Rp 454.04 billion will be distributed to public shareholders listed in the ICBP shareholder registry as of the record date," said ICBP President Director and CEO Anthoni Salim.
ICBP also announced that Rp 5 billion of its net profit would be allocated to reserve funds, with the remaining 2023 net profit to be retained as undistributed earnings. The dividend payout is scheduled for July 25.
Meanwhile, the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) of INDF approved a final cash dividend of Rp 267 per share, totaling Rp 2.34 trillion. First Pacific Investment Management Ltd, the controlling shareholder of INDF, will receive a dividend of Rp 1.17 trillion. Public shareholders, holding 49.91 percent of the company, will also receive Rp 1.17 trillion.
Anthoni Salim, as the president director, will receive a dividend of Rp 355.04 million.
INDF management announced that Rp 5 billion of net profit would be allocated to reserve funds, with the remaining 2023 net profit to be retained as undistributed earnings.
ICBP reported revenue of Rp 67.9 trillion, a 4.8 percent increase from the previous year. Its net profit surged 52.4 percent to Rp 6.9 trillion. INDF also recorded strong performance, with sales reaching Rp 111.7 trillion, up 0.97 percent from Rp 110.83 trillion in 2022. Indofood's net profit climbed to Rp 8.14 trillion, a 28.12 percent increase from Rp 6.35 trillion in the previous year.
