Lippo Cikarang Tees Off Grand Megumi Driving Range

Jakarta. Lippo Cikarang, the industrial township developer arm of the Lippo Group, held a soft opening of its Grand Megumi driving range at the Lippo Cikarang township on Monday.

Lippo Cikarang president director Meow Chong Loh and Jusak Budijanto, the president director of Sugih Lestari, a company that manages the driving range, marked the event by making the first hits on the course.

“With the inauguration of Grand Megumi Driving Range, at an area of about two hectares, it will allow people to enjoy lifestyle facility at Lippo Cikarang, which will allow it to become a gathering place for golf fans,” Meow said.

Jusak said the company was proud to be able to be selected by Lippo Cikarang to collaborate in operating the golf course.

The driving range offers 36 bays and a putting green, as well as lockers for men and women, ofuro (a traditional Japanese-style sauna), VIP room, golf academy, and a cafe.

Lippo Cikarang, a subsidiary of Indonesia’s largest listed property developer, Lippo Karawaci, is a developer of a township named after the company’s, which covers 3,000 hectares in Cikarang, Bekasi, on the eastern outskirts of Jakarta.

More than 800 manufacturing companies operate in the township, many of them from Japan.

The Jakarta Globe is affiliated with the Lippo Group.
