MPPA Opens 20th Hypermart Store in Sumatra
Jakarta. Matahari Putra Prima, or MPPA, a multi-format modern retailer, opened a new Hypermart G7 outlet in Baturaja, South Sumatra, on Thursday (27/10).
The new outlet in Citimall is the 20th Hypermart in Sumatra and adopts the company's G7 format, featuring improved store design and a gross selling area of 6,500 square meters.
"We are delighted to open our new Hypermart G7 store in Baturaja. We will make sure that with the quality of products and unparalleled retail service it will have a positive impact on modern retail in Baturaja and South Sumatra and will support the regional economy," MPPA public relations and communications director Danny Kojongian said.
MPPA now owns 112 Hypermart outlets in Indonesia.
MPPA and the Jakarta Globe are both affiliated with the Lippo Group.
