New Zapa Application Strengthen the Digitization of SMEs
Telekomunikasi Indonesia, better known as Telkom, launched its New Zapa mobile application to help Indonesia's small and medium enterprises become more powerful.
Telkom enterprise and business services director Muhammad Awaluddin launched the app in Jakarta on Wednesday (07/09).
"With a variety of features on the New Zapa application, Telkom decided to encourage and facilitate SMEs to take advantage of our digital services in order to improve their businesses," Awaluddin said.
New Zapa is a customer relationship management service via a mobile app for SMEs in Indonesia. The service is designed to facilitate SMEs in accessing Telkom product information, billing information, tracking order processes or seek the nearest SME partners through the Near Me feature.
"The application development of New Zapa is based on the voices of customers gathered by admin at every opportunity to meet SMEs and interaction through social media, so New Zapa becomes an application that is more powerful more valuable and more reliable [more reliable]," Awaluddin said.
He added that the current Zapa app that was launched in 2014, received positive feedback from SMEs.
The New Zapa app also includes the StarBox feature, that provides complete solution for SMEs and it is comprised of wifi.id products, Jarvis, Easy Accounting and Bos Stores that are packed into 3C service (connectivity, content and commerce).
The New Zapa app is already available on Google Play Store so that SMEs can download it directly from their smartphones or tablets.
Through Starbox, SMEs also have the opportunity to become StarBox resellers, called StarBox Digi Bulk. Enough to deposit a minimum of Rp 500,000 ($37), the user can get an immediate bonus of 10 percent.
Currently, Telkom has 2.39 million members of SmartBisnis Directory of the target of 3 million that proclaimed, 1,000 Kampung Digital SME, which has 12,000 members and 10,000 members of Smart Funding. With these achievements, Awaluddin launched New Zapa that is able to pick up 10,000 users by the end of 2016.
Telkom to provide education either directly or through the provision of web-based applications such as www.smartbisnis.co.id for SMEs and now, Telkom develops applications that can be used by SMEs via Mobile-phone to complete the implementation of the Indonesia Digital Entrepreneur (IndiPreneur).
"Telkom is committed to developing applications to support SMEs and of course we hope that every application that was developed to create a better business ecosystem and modern,"Awaluddin added.
