Porsche’s Asia Pacific Public Relation Officer, Calista Tambayong added, “the new Porsche Cayenne is now considered as one of Porsche’s backbone productions besides the brands many other sport cars. First launched in 2002, the sales of this sporty family car exceeded sales expectations, having sold over 580,000 units worldwide and set a new record last year in Asia Pacific, totalling 4,846 units sold, which is 53 percent higher when compared to sales figures from the previous year. This shows that the Asia Pacific market is very promising, especially in Indonesia. Although PT. Eurokars Artha Utama’s Porsche Center in Jakarta is currently under renovation, there will soon be a new Porsche Center opening in Surabaya. With the launch of the Porsche Macan last year and the addition of the new Porsche Cayenne, we are positive that sales will rise, especially in Indonesia.”

The new Porsche Cayenne comes with a new look. When seen from the front, onlookers can see that it now features larger intakes, giving the family car a more sporty appearance. The headlights sport four LED daytime running lights. The rear also features a new look with its new taillight design. Turning attention to the cabin, the luxurious interior features accessible control functions, so the driver can focus more on the driving, rather than fiddle around with knobs and buttons when they drive. Equipped with a V-8 bi-turbo cylinder 4.8 liter engine, which is said to be able to produce torque of up to 520 horsepower at 6,000 RPM. This stylish SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. With a top speed of 279 km/h, the Porsche DNA is kept alive in this family car. Fitted with new 21 inch turbo designed rims and new stylish features, the new cayenne looks absolutely fantastic.

As for the Porsche 911 Targa 4S, speed lovers will love its flat 3.4 liter engine which can produce an output of 350 horsepower. Aided by the latest all-wheel drive technology, the power of the engine is sure to make it all to the tarmac. Able to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds and top-speed of 282 km/h, this sports car is sure to get you from A to B fast, but in style. For those seeking extra speed can opt for the PDK Active and Sport Chrono packages.

With the launch of these new cars, Calista believes that 2015 will continue expand, and build the Porsche brand Asia. On a sad note, consumers will have to wait three months before they can feel the power of their Porsche.

Although both cars have officially entered the Indonesian market, PT Eurokars Artha Utama cannot yet comment regarding the price of the new models. Public and Media Relations Manager PT Eurokars Artha Utama Salman Farouk Al-Hakim stated that the price information can only be obtained when willing customers visit a Porsche dealership.
