Jakarta. In line with the one stop service policy introduced by the Ministry of Home Affairs, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and BPJS Kesehatan, Indonesia’s social security administration body for employment and health, launched an integrated portal for new registrations on Wednesday (15/06) in Jakarta.

The cooperation between the two social security agencies was marked by a memorandum of cooperation agreement signing by BPJS Kesehatan membership and marketing director, Andayani Budi Lestari and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan membership and inter-agency relations, E. Ilyas Lubis.

“The cooperation between BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan hopes to raise social awareness about the importance of social security, as well as its functions,” Ilyas said.

The two agencies believe that with the portal, it will help accelerate the registration process for programs, allowing an exchange of participant data and to ease inspection compliance for employers.

According to BPJS Kesehatan president director, Fachmi Idris, the cooperation will help to optimize operational efficiency of the programs provided by the two agencies.

“With the launch of the portal, companies can easily register any new applications for the social security programs with convenience,” Fachmi said.
