Telkom Business Strengthens Data Center in Singapore

Telin Singapore which is a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia (Telkom) inaugurated the third data center, which is Telin-3, which is located in Singapore Data Centre Park (DCP) in Jurong, Singapore. SOE Minister Rini Soemarno and Singapore's Minister of Communication and Information Janil Puthucheary present to inaugurate TELIN-3, Tuesday (22/11). Inauguration Data Center TELIN-3 is an important step for Telkom's corporate vision in leading regional digital telecommunications.

Telin-3 is designed as a futuristic premium data center, which is the first data center and the only one who got a Tier-IV design certification from Uptime Institute (UTI), a data center institution with an international reputation. This certification is awarded to Telin-3 that have met rigorous standards of risk management, and security of data that required a variety of industries.

Previously Telin-3 has certified Tier-III Constructed Facility of UTI proves that Telin-3 has high standards for reliability of data center services as a key to meeting the needs of customers. Built five floors in an area of 20,000 m2 and adopt a multi-tier system, Telin-3 provides a flexible service with a modular system, so customers can choose a range of services with a variety of tier that fits their business needs.

The presence Telin-3 complements the data center world-class already owned TelkomGroup currently in Indonesia of 100,000 square meters with a classification Tier-III located in Serpong, Tangerang, Sentul, and Surabaya, as well as the classification of Tier-IV located in Jatinegara and more Data Center in many locations in Jakarta area.
