Telkom Officiated the 1st Phase of "Living Lab Smart City Nusantara"
As part of its commitment to further accelerate the utilization of ICT technology in order to establish local governance as well as to provide the best service for the society, through Smart City, PT. Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) officiated the Living Lab Smart City at Telkom's office, Jl. Gunung Sahari Jakarta.
"Telkom understood the importance to take part and support the local government through the implementation of Smart City, which is modern, efficient, effective, and also relevant to the need of each region," said Director of Enterprise & Business Service Telkom, Muhammad Awaluddin.
Living Lab Smart City Nusantara will function as a vehicle for the local government to understand as well as implementing the Smart City program in an efficient way. Smart City Nusantara is a laboratory where a customer can learn and understand the benefit of the smart city solution. The 1st phase of the Living Tab is filled with design room, meeting room, control room, server room, and co-working space. The 2nd phase of the Living Tab is said to also be in development.
Also attending the ceremony today are Prof. Dr. Ir. Suhono Harso Supangkat from ITB, The Mayor of Bogor Dr. Bima Arya Sugiarto, The Mayor of Banjarmasin Ibnu Sina S.Pi, M.S, The Mayor of Banjarbaru H. Nadjmi Adhani, Vice-regent Trenggalek Mochammad Nur Arifin, General Director for The Hygiene of Bandung City Gun gun Hidayat, and Director of Innovation Strategic Portfolio Telkom Indra Utoyo.
During today's activity, Telkom also conducted the signing of the Letter of Intent with ITB regarding the collaboration with the Smart City service, as well as the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the district of Trenggalek regarding the development of Trenggalek's Smart City and the contract service of M2M (Machine to Machine) with the Bandung regarding the management of hygiene car.
