Telkom Ready to Implement Reliable ICT Services for 5 Strategic Sectors in East Java
In order to strengthen cooperation and exploit the potential together with institutions and companies engaged in five strategic sectors in East Java, PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) conduct courtesy visit and signing a memorandum of understanding on the provision of information service solutions (ICT) with Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), PT Pakuwon Jati, PT East Java Regional Development Bank (Bank Jatim), Surabaya City Government and PT PAL Indonesia, in Surabaya, Friday (26/5) ). The courtesy visit was conducted by Telkom Business & Business Service Director Dian Rachmawan, accompanied by Executive Vice President of Telkom Enterprise Service Division Siti Choiriana and Executive Vice President of Telkom Regional 5 Suparwiyanto.
Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) became the first goal of the visit. In this courtesy visit, Dian Rachmawan was received directly by ITS Rector Prof. Ir. Joni Hermana, M.Sc.ES, Ph.D. And the Vice Rectors in ITS Rectorate Building. At the meeting, the two sides discussed the need of Telkom service solution which is expected to become an enabler of ITomet Webometrics ranking to World Class University.
The courtesy visit was followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on the Provision of Infrastructure and ICT Services for Project Pakuwon Teak by Dian Rachmawan and Commercial Director of PT Pakuwon Jati, Tbk Sutandi Purnomosidi at East Coast Center Surabaya.
The Pakuwon Jati Project's scope of cooperation includes basic digital services (telephone, internet and interactive television) and advances services (content and applications); Digitalization of building (smart surveillance, smart security system, smart lighting, energy management system), indoor cellular system and digital signage; Indoor building system (IBS); Wifi.id; And modernization of copper cable network with fiber optic; And others are not limited to the scope of this cooperation.
On the next visit, signed a memorandum of understanding on the Digitalization of Bank Jatim by Dian Rachmawan and Director of Medium Business and Cooperative Bank Jatim Su'udi, witnessed by Director of Bank Jatim R. Soeroso and Director of Operations Bank Jatim Rudie Hardiono at Bank Central Java Office.
Dian Rachmawan expressed his gratitude to ITS, Pakuwon Jati, Bank Jatim, Surabaya City Government and PT PAL Indonesia for their belief in choosing Telkom as ICT service provider and supporting service. "With the complete digital ecosystem capability in Indonesia we have, supported by fiber optic network that reaches all corners of Indonesia, we are confident to be able to add digital value to institutions and companies", said Dian.
In addition, Dian Rachmawan also asserted that Telkom has cooperated with several other Regional Development Banks through the provision and implementation of various ICT service solutions such as T-Money, IP VPN, VSAT IP, Managed Service ATM, Mobile Cars as well as digital marketing such as DOOH Digital Out of Home) and SMS Blast.
"Telkom also has digital solutions that can be tailored to the unique needs of each company, including Enterprise Resource Planning solutions, Data Center, Customer Relationship Management, electronic memorandum application, and other solutions," added Dian.
Through the support of various integrated and reliable ICT services, Telkom expects to be able to accelerate the digitalization of strategic sectors, both at the regional and national levels, which impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of the institution's performance. This accelerated digitalization effort is a form of Telkom's commitment in supporting the government's determination to make Indonesia the largest digital economy power in Southeast Asia.
