Telkom Supports Inalum Go Live ERP SAP

PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk (Telkom) shows again its commitment to develop national economic industry by launching “Go Live Enterprise Resource Plan (ERP) System Application and Products in Data Processing (SAP)” in PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum (Inalum), Medan, Tuesday (9/2).

Go Live ERP SAP Inalum is the cumination of ERP SAP implementation in accordance to the SAP-Based ERP System Implementation Agreement signed by President Director of Inalum Winardi and EGM Enterprise Service DIvision of Telkom Siti Choiriana some time ago.

The Inalum Go Live ERP SAP was marked by the Work Order handing over to Inalum Finance Director Oggy Achmad Kosasih, Inalum General Affairs Director and Human Resources Carry EF Mumbunan and Inalum Operational DirectorSahala Hasoloan Sijabat Inalum, who jointly announced that SAP is now fully operational in Inalum and witnessed by  Telkom EGM Enterprise Service DIvision Siti Choiriana and Sigma President Director Judi Achmadi.

In a separate occassion, Telkom Director for Enteprise & Business Service Muhammad Awaluddin said, “As the first telecommunication provider in Indonesia that implements ERP SAP portfolio solution, Telkom will continue to support the growth of business in Indonesia by providing value added services such as reduced cost and end-to-end services that range from device procurement to its management”.

According to Awaluddin, in the future Telkom will introduce this ERP SAP portfolio solution to all its Enterprise clients including state-owned enterprises as a form of synergy between state-owned enterprises. The SAP-based ERP system is a data processing application system that includes integrated and centralised ERP developed by SAP AG.

President Director of PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium Winardi said he expects that Inalum Go Live ERP SAP could support the company's vision and misison and make it into an enviromentally-friendly, aluminum-based leading global company. “In addition, it would also contribute to development of regional economy and sustainable business developemnt. With an integrated system, we can quickly and coerectly anticipate the changes in business environment," Winardi added.

Synergy between state-owned enterprises such as Telkom and Inalum in implementing the complete ERP SAP for HANA system in 11 modules was the quickest implementation time in only seven months. It is a proof that state-owned enterprises synergy is well implemented and brings value to both companies and notably for the state.

“With the top management commitment, supported by hardwork and On Fire Change Leader spirit, today finally Inalum is ready to go live ERP SAP,” Winardi said.
