Traffic Jams Throughout Roads to C. Java

Jakarta. Roads leading to Central Java have been jammed by holiday traffic, with cars entering Cipali Toll Gate in Palimanan, Cirebon, stuck for hours.
The build-up of traffic began early Friday morning (25/03), with vehicles slowly crawling along the main and alternative roads, including the new Cipali-Palikanci toll.
"On average, the traffic heading to Central Java is jammed for a kilometer," Cirebon traffic police head AKP Galih Raditiya said iin Cirebon on Friday, as quoted by state newsagency Antara.
The traffic police official Twitter account has said the toll roads heading to Cikampek are now also jammed, with heavy congestion in KM 37 and KM 39:

Traffic usually increases around the Easter long weekend, with many Jakarta residents leaving the city to holiday with family.
The police have advised holiday travelers to obey road signs and maintain caution on the road.
