Zaggle and MatchMove to Launch Prepaid Mobile Wallet in India

Jakarta. Zaggle, India’s leading digital and analytics company, has partnered with Singapore-based award winning fintech company MatchMove on Friday (04/11), to launch a full-featured prepaid mobile wallet for faster payment processes in India.

Zaggle will target businesses and the fast-growing working class to offer both off-the-shelf and custom prepaid gift solutions.

Zaggle leverages MatchMove's Wallet Operating System to streamline employee reward and benefit programs, channel partner incentivzation and promotional gifts for consumers.

"Leveraging on MatchMove’s scalable, secure and flexible Wallet OS, we are able to maximize the value and choices for our partners and users. We believe that this partnership to integrate the virtual wallet into our system will enable us to our widen our reach in the Indian market,” said Avinash Godkhindi, Zaggle chief executive and managing director.

MatchMove has provided Zaggle with access to the market as well as mechanisms to distribute innovative, mobile prepaid products to address the growing needs of Indian consumers.

MatchMove South Asia regional director Gaurav Mittal said that MatchMove is excited to work with Zaggle because of its market reach in India.

"We are confident that Zaggle’s reach within the fast-growing Indian market and their foray into the digital payments space, will ensure the success of this initiative,” he said.

Currently, Zaggle has six offices across India with over 1,000 corporate clients and over 1,500 merchant relationships, while MatchMove is headquartered in Singapore with offices in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, India and the Philippines.
