Hunting for Indonesia's Most Valued Brands
Jakarta. The World’s Most Valued Brands, an initiative that tracks the ethical and corporate responsibility of the world’s largest companies, launched it’s first program in Indonesia last week.
The program helps brands and companies to better highlight environmental or social values that match an increasingly savvy consumer base looking for more than just good deals.
“Companies who understand the need for ethics, responsibility and transparency will quickly rise to the front line of consumer favorites,” said Alistair Speirs, chairman of the World’s Most Valued Brands.
The program has registered 100 Indonesian companies to be assessed throughout the remainder of the year, with the winner to be named the World’s Most Responsible Brand Indonesia in early 2016.
Speirs is confident the World’s Most Valued Brands will become an international benchmark in the future for judging corporate responsibility.
“Being a World’s Most Valued Brand will become the standard by which brands and companies are judged. That’s why this is so important to Indonesian business,” Speirs said.
The program is supported by the Most Valued Brands International council, whose members include some of the biggest names in the business world.
Winners of the Indonesia program will receive two return business-class tickets to any major destination in Europe from Qatar Airways.
