Jakarta. Indonesia's U19 team head coach, Indra Sjafri, has summoned four players from overseas after a selection training camp that took place in April.

The 54-year-old coach assessed 12 Indonesian footballers who live overseas. Only four of them managed to impress him.

The selected players are Nicholas Pambudi, Syahrian Abimanyu and Samuel Christianson from Spain, and Muhammad Rafid Habibie from Italy. Rafid is a grandson of Indonesia's former President Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie.

"We want to assess again their abilities," Indra said in a statement on Monday (03/07).

The players are expected to join the team of 30 as it prepares for the Asean Football Federation Cup in September.

On July 14, Indra will lead the team in a friendly match against Spanish LaLiga club Espanyol.
