India's Mobile Wallet Teams Up With MatchMove in Expansion Drive

Jakarta. India’s first and leading payment solution the Mobile Wallet, or TMW, has partnered with Singapore’s fastest growing Fintech company, MatchMove, to expand digital payment services.

TMW will integrate MatchMove’s award-winning Wallet OS into the TMW mobile-app, allowing TMW to boost its functionality and usability further. Users will be able to pay on the go, while businesses can accept payments digitally.

“Our decision to work with MatchMove is a strategic one. Not only does it enhance our app’s offerings, but also allow us to take that next step to becoming a leader in the digital payments segments in India and open new inroads to the Southeast Asian market," TMW founder and managing director Vinay Kalantari said in a press release received by the Jakarta Globe.

Founded in 2013, TMW provides innovative services with complete payment solutions for day-to-day digital transactions. The company as partnered with major providers in India, allowing users to pay for mobile recharges, utilities and shopping through the service.

The growth in mobile payment industry in India has been largely driven by the Indian government’s Digital India Initiative. Cashless payments have grown in popularity in recent years with the increase use of smartphone technology and innovations in mobile-app engineering.

MatchMove chief executive Shailesh Naik said his optimistic of the partnership. The company is committed to providing companies with the best solutions through integration.

“This partnership will further expand our footprints in the Indian market as we continue to expand as a company in the country,” said Naik.
