Another Pulomas Murder Suspect Ridwan Sitorus Nabbed in Medan
Jakarta. Police nabbed Ridwan Sitorus, also known as Iyus Pane or Marihot Sitorus, another presumed suspect in a sadistic murder in Pulomas, East Jakarta, that police now claim was a case of robbery-gone-wrong in Medan, North Sumatra, on Sunday (01/01).
Ridwan was the last of a group of seasoned criminals accused of masterminding the murder that the police have managed to capture. Two other suspects, Erwin Situmorang and Alfin Sinaga, were arrested last week along with the alleged leader of the group, Ramlan Butar Butar, who was shot dead by the police.
"The suspect [Ridwan] was arrested at 7.45 a.m. in Medan," National Police spokesman Insp. Gen. Boy Rafli Amar said in Jakarta.
Ridwan fled to Bekasi and Depok in West Java before he was finally nabbed at a bus station on Jalan Sisimangaraja in Medan.
The multiple murders occurred at the home of billionaire businessman Dodi Triono last Tuesday, with six people found dead from suffocation and five injured in a tiny toilet at the house after being locked up overnight.
CCTV recordings showed Ridwan forcefully pulled Diona, one of the six dead victims, from her room on the second floor to the toilet. He also took two bags belonging to Diona.
The injured victims are still receiving treatments at the hospital.
